The scene: Manbot stands in the middle of the road, covered up to his chest in a large pile of fish. El Diablo, minus his shirt, is on the sidewalk, pointing and laughing. On the other side, Minuteman and Order are struggling to pull a large truck out of the shattered façade of a building. And above it all, hanging from a steel wire suspended eight stories above the ground, attached on one side with a harpoon and on the other side held tight by a small winch in a broken window, is Liberty Lad, hanging on for dear life, trying to get the attention of his teammates below.

The challenge: Explain how this happened.
