Voltron/Aries Team Crossover Of Twins And Traitors Part Five By: Hell's Belle On The Red Hound ship Hell Kat/Rosco had broken into a cold sweat. This was thanks to the images that he found in the head of his pseudo-team mate Guinevere. Specifically, they were images of where her twin brother was being held captive. Planet Hydra was quite possibly one of the worst places to find yourself trapped, and the second command of the Aries team knew this better than anyone. :Excuse me?: came Allison/Jeana's telepathic voice,:what are we gonna do? Are we gonna go help the guy, or what?: :Negative: was his curt reply, as he suddenly snapped into his ruthless commander mode.:We can't risk blowing our cover so early in; it would look glaringly suspicious if we knew too much about the layout of a reality we're supposed to have just stumbled onto. Also, I really am not in the mood to face Grimalkin right now.: :What!: came Genny's outraged telepathic shout. :That's my brother down there, you callous bastard!: The decision had gone against Genny in the vocalized discussion as well. "I'm sorry, Genny."said Marshall in a gentle voice. "Even if you are right about your brother, we have orders to follow. I think you should simply trust that his own team will come to his aid." Genny fumed in silence, knowing that to continue either argument, vocal or telepathic, was a complete waste of time and would merely further her reputation as a stubborn hot head. She considered blowing the infiltrators cover; part of the argument used against her, after all, had been that they did not know the position of her brothers prison. It was obvious that the two Aries team members were quite familiar with the location, but weren't talking. However, she had sworn not to give the pair away, and was not about to break her promise. She didn't want any harm to come to her new friends, despite H.K.'s cold decision. But the issue was far from over. If no one was going to help her rescue her brother, she damned well was gonna do it herself, back-up or no back-up. Back on Hydra Lance was hurled roughly back into his cell, his sadistic captors finally wearied of "interrogating" him. His whole body ached from the beatings he had sustained. Faintly, through his pain and exhaustion he heard a gasp of horror, and sensed someone rush to his side. Then he felt his body being turned over by a pair of gentle hands, and found himself gazing into a pair of tearful blue eyes. "Lance are you ok?" gasped Allura. "I've felt better." He forced his eyes to focus properly, and finally noticed something different about his friend. "Allura, what happened to you?" He gasped. It was a rhetorical question. Aside from the fact that she had obviously received a nasty beating , her long golden tresses of hair had been hacked off messily to mid ear length. The princesses eyes hardened in anger. "That old prune hacked it off out of shear spite."she muttered. "Oh, screw the hair, Allura! I think it looks cute, or it least it will be cute when we find someone to even it up for you. But what about the rest of you? Is anything broken?" She smiled at his attempt to make her feel better."No, I think as far as injuries go, I'm better off than you, though not by much."she sighed.deeply."We're really in trouble this time, aren't we?" "Don't worry, 'Lura. I sense that help will be coming soon........and the answer to my vision as well." Before the puzzled girl could ask him to explain further, Lance passed out cold. Back on planet Athens, Three sleek mechanical lions silently arrived at an apparently deserted castle. With a smoothness that belied their great size, the three mechanical marvels touched ground. Three figures emerged from the hatches on top of the great cats, and clambered to the ground. The largest one removed his yellow helmet and scratched his head, a puzzled expression crossing his huge features. "Looks kinda deserted. Are you sure we're at the right place, Pidge?" "I'm more than positive, Hunk. This is where the trail ends." "Then shouldn't we go check it out?" said Hunk. "You two go check it out." said Keith, "But I wanna take a look around outside. Besides, someone should remain out here in case it turns out to be a trap. If you two aren't out of there in fifteen minutes, I'm going to assume the worst, and come in after you. Inside the castle it seemed as deserted as it did outside. Pidge was unable to suppress a shudder. Despite the darkness, he could tell that they were in a fairly enclosed space, like a tunnel. This was completely unlike the castle of Lions where the front door had led straight to a huge chamber. Even though it was so dark they could hardly see, neither one of the V-force members dared to turn on a flashlight, for fear of being seen by some hidden inhabitant of this strange castle. Neither spoke, but signaled each other by touch and movements. Suddenly, the pair found themselves in a wide open chamber. Just before Pidge decided that now would be the perfect time to use the flashlight, the whole chamber lit up. After blinking away the spots that clouded his vision, he realized they were completely surrounded. Aside from many uniformed guards, there was a short blond guy in a forest green windsuit, five humanoid wolves, a thin slip of a girl with a flowing mop of pale hair and a mouse on her shoulder, and right in front of them was the biggest man he had ever seen in his entire life. Brown haired, hazel eyed and broad shouldered, he was easily two feet taller than Hunk, if not taller. To top it off, they were all armed to the teeth. Before either pilot could even move a finger, the odd girl lifted a delicate hand, and their weapons obediently floated out of their holsters, and into her tiny hands. "Thank you!" she said, a bright smile on her bright face. "Now, I recommend you two make a hasty retreat."said the colossus in front of them. "Don't worry."came another voice to their immediate left. They turned to see the blond guy, who had the wolf men right at his back. "We won't shoot you while you run. But I do suggest you leave right away. We don't want any trouble, understand?" You can bet your life they did. As they were running out, Pidge tried to radio Keith. Not that it did him any good, as the V-force captain found himself in trouble as well. It had barely been a minute before the captain found himself being ambushed by a giant figure. Unfortunately for him, the figure could fight, well. Before he had time to realize what had happened, he was disarmed and flat on his back. "My name is Iron Ore."said the dark giant. "Either state your business, trespasser, or leave now if you can." he said the last part with a slightly evil sarcasm. Just then, the other two pilots came rushing out of the front door, a small army at their backs. "Let's get out of here, now!" The three pilots rushed for their respective lions, all with the idea of using the mighty robots to handle this problem. Surprisingly, none of the pursuers made a move to stop them. It wasn't until they got into their lions that they collectively realized why they'd been allowed to escape so easily. Their keys had been stolen off their uniforms. Keith, sensing another presence in his lion, turned around to see a short blond guy smiling down at him. He also happened to be holding a gun to his head. "I assume your in charge of this team, so I figured I better secure you first. Not that it makes a bit of difference in your current position, but it is a way to make sure you don't have an ace up your sleeve. Hi, I'm Mike." "Who are you people?" "We're the Aries team. So pleased to meet you. I assume you are the Voltron Force?" End part five!
