Survey One Results

I put up a small survey to get a feel for what you guys wanted out of this site. I had a total of 15 respondants, all of whom answered the following questions...

1. Should fanfic about the Gladiator Voltorn (the one that never aired in the US) be allowed?
Well, it looks like 80% of you (12 out of 15) want to see stories about the Voltron-that-never-aired. Of course, as I said, I've never seen the Japanese version, but if there's anyone out there who DOES end up writing one, I'll be happy to post it.

2. If the V3d series contradicts something a writer/artist has done for V4, how should it be handled?
Obviously, you guys want to be flexable about "exploring the universe". 73% of you (11) said to handle it "Case-by-case" instead of having a set rule on it. 20% (3) said that V4 is a separate continuity and any conflicts with the show shoudl be dealt with as such. Only one of you said to change it outright if it conflicts. So, if we do run into a problem, we'll jsut see what happens.

3. Should we include stories that take place simultaneously within series continuity or should all stories be set outside the series timelines?
Again 11 of you (73%), agreed on something (though I don't think it was the same 11); that V4 should allow stories that take place during the sereies runs. 4 of you (27%) said to keep them separated.

4. What area would you like to see more stories/art about? (check all that apply)
Out of thousands of years, you guys picked five. Well, not exactly, but the most popular choice, with 93% (14) of the vote was the 5 years between "Voltron:DoU" and "Voltron:3D". Second place, with 73% (11), was Planet Arus' recent history, followed by Planet Arus' Ancient History with 60% (9), adn finally, other planets in the galaxy with 53% (8).

Oh, and by they way, over half of the respondandts said they wouldn't mind having something of theirs posted here. I hope they weren't just saying that. ;-)

The rest of the survey had to do with last names, which are on the contact page, and a few things to help me make this site better. Overall, you seem to be satisfied with the layout, though navigation could use a little work, which I'll try to improve on.
