Heavy Fighter: Modified Broadsword Class by Lucille Clark Ships:Phoenix

    Images: NA

Lucille Clark, the Wing Commander onboard the CTWS Einstein, as made many modifications to her Broadsword Fighter. Maneuverability and speed is close to that of a medium fighter. The Plasma Cannon makes this fighter capable affective against heavy capital ships. Rear missile hardpoints and upgraded rear weapons increase aft defense. High frequency long-range lasers decrease the mount of weapon energy absorbed by a defenders shields and increase damage taken. Many of her personal additions includes a remote and self destruction mechanism on the pilot ejection seat and a computer with false intelligence.

    Bomber: Sabre Class

    Images: NA

Originally designed for one task, to deliver torpedoes to an enemy capital ship, the Sabre had been improved to be multifunction craft. The fighter is also used for long range scouting because of a Hyperdrive Engine and with a quick change out, planetary bombardment. The ships bulk and lack of maneuverability and speed impede the fighter's fighter-to-fighter capability. The ships almost always fly with a light or medium fighter escort, except for scouting. The current Sabres are reaching the end of their usage. Within a year, the Sabre Mk II will feature the same powercore as is being used on the new Nautilus class combat shuttles to increase its Shield capability and performance. The greatest improvement will be a wide range hyperspace field to allow the fighter's escorts to be carried along into hyperspace.

Bomber: Sabre Mk II Class (Updated 1875 NGE)

    Images: NA

This improved version of the Sabre makes it more of a multipurpose craft. Its power core has been replaced with a new Zero-Point Energy Collector that actually uses the natural Quantum Energy Flux of the Universe to power the ship. The new drive reduces the overall mass and has an almost four fold increase in power output from the matter/antimatter reactor of the original Sabres. The extra power increases the speed, shields, and weapons abilities of the fighter. Also, it is the first fighter to be equipped with a wide range Hyperspace Field Generator that can take its fighter support through Hyperspace. A special variant of the Mk II is in development that incorporates a Plasma Cannon but will have lost two torpedoes, the neutron guns, and the bottom mounted turret.

    Stealth Fighter: Raptor Class

    Images: NA

The Stealth fighter is designed for quick, silent attacks. The fighter is designed around the Bowsman Electromagnetic Warping and Dampening Device, otherwise known as the Cloaking Device (which has been a pop culture term for some years now and the origin is unknown). The device works by warping electromagnetic fields and radiation around the ship and dampening the internal energies of the ship. Capital Ships have used a similar concept for evading sensors at long range, but were never able to remove the ships own emissions effectively. On the stealth fighter, a secondary computer is needed to carefully mask the fighter's emissions as background noise. The original design of this fighter didn't have any weapons that could fire while cloaked. Firing of weapons would disturb the cloaking field and actually make the fighter far easier to detect. The time it took to disengage the cloaking field caused it to loose the advantage of surprise, so a special set of mid range lasers was substituted in that could fire under cloak. Due to how much they had to be tied in with the cloaking equipment, they cannot fire while out of cloak. While the fighter is under cloak, the shields are not operable. This is for two reasons; the power drain of the cloak doesn't leave enough power for the shields and when the two fields interact, they cancel each other out.
